Thigh lifts are performed in order to tighten the loose skin of the thigh and buttock. The texture of the skin does not change as a result of this procedures. Not all patients are candidates for a thigh lift. The method of surgery is to undermine the skin and remove the excess. The incision is placed around the upper thigh and buttock, hidden in natural creases. Many doctors recommend that some fat is suctioned at the same time. The operation is done under anesthesia on an outpatient basis. |
